Zachary McClinton Biography
Born August 28, 1980 in Ridgecrest, California.
I Moved to Lometa, Texas as a small child. While growing up in Lometa, I developed a love for the outdoors. I learned to hunt and fish and became a good marksman.
I played all sports, including baseball and football while attending a small K-12 school in Lometa. I also developed a love of music, learning to play guitar and fronting several bands.
During my senior year in high school I took my first plumbing job.
After graduation from High School in Lometa, I had the opportunity to apprentice under really excellent plumbers with Roberts & Petty in Brownwood, Texas from 1998-2000. While under their employment I learned a huge amount about plumbing and the plumbing industry.
In 2000, I decided to follow my family tradition and serve my country as my Great Grandfather, Grandfather and Father had also done. I joined the United States Air Force. I did my basic training at Lackland AFB in San Antonio. After completing basic training I was deployed to many different locations including Iraq, Cuba, Alaska, Louisiana, and finally back to Texas. After 9 years, numerous decorations, I received an honorable discharge from my military service, with the rank of staff sergeant.
In 2007 I became employed with HHCC, Inc. as a Tradesman Plumber. While working for HHCC I was in the Texas Air National Guard. My military skills resulted in a couple of deployments while working for HHCC. I soon obtained my Journeyman Plumbing License. As an avid student of the plumbing industry, I then obtained my Master Plumbing License at the young age of 28. Shortly thereafter, during 2008, I impressed the owners of HHCC, Mark Rawlings and Bill Fowler, with my plumbing expertise, high standards, integrity, organizational and leadership skills and was rewarded by my promotion to the Director of the Plumbing Service Division. During 2011 I received another promotion from HHCC in which I took over the responsibilities of the Plumbing Construction Division. I was responsible for merging Plumbing Construction and Plumbing Service into single HHCC Division.
HHCC’s Plumbing Division has prospered under my directorship. HHCC’s Plumbing Division is very active, successfully performing thousands of jobs in a year. These jobs range from a simple plumbing repair to very large commercial plumbing jobs on High Rise Hotels.
