Plumbing Repairs in Austin, TX
Repair plumbing is perhaps the most challenging type of work in the plumbing profession. Good repair plumbers must have the experience, knowledge, and problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot any plumbing problem. Repair plumbers also require excellent practical skills to quickly and safely make repairs on complex plumbing systems. Repairs are often necessary on older plumbing systems, which have exceeded their expected service life, requiring much ingenuity and improvisation. Repair plumbers are called upon to work at all times during the day and night, under some of the harshest environmental conditions. Furthermore, repair plumbers must also have good customer care skills. HHCC's licensed plumbers and drain technicians proudly meet these challenges.

Drain cleaning with a rotary drain snake is an art requiring the operator to have "the touch" to properly chew through or snag the debris causing the pipe blockage. In order to locate the blockage, the drain cleaning technician must instinctively know how existing underground sewers and drains were previously installed, without the benefit of x-ray vision. The drain cleaning technician must know which drain machine will most effectively clear the blockage. Furthermore, the drain cleaning technician must know which cutter head or cable accessory to use, and how much pressure to apply to achieve the desired results. HHCC's licensed plumbers and drain technicians are such experts.
Sometimes a drain snake will make an opening through a blockage, allowing the pipe to temporarily drain. Although the pipe may drain, considerable buildup may still be present on the walls of the pipe. This is especially true where FOG (fats, oils, grease) is the cause of the blockage. An effective way to scour the pipe walls is by hydro-jetting cleaning. High-pressure water at 2,000 to 4,000 psi blasts the residue from the pipe walls, leaving a much cleaner, better-flowing pipe. HHCC has a large arsenal of hydro-jetting equipment, ranging from smaller, electric-powered, and gas engine machines to our large, and ourtrailer-mounted machine for larger pipes.
After the drain pipes have been hydro-jetted, HHCC recommends video camera inspection of the sewer or drain lines to ensure effective cleaning and to locate potential problems, such as broken, misaligned pipes or pipes with back fall.
HHCC has the expertise, powerful, modern equipment, and talented, licensed plumbers and drain cleaning technicians to quickly handle just about any stopped-up sewer or drain line.
